BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY

Mainely Tables is a family-owned farm business located in Buxton near the beautiful Saco River. Including previous owners of the business, quality products have been sold since 2009.  We hand-craft our products in our workshop with Maine Spruce, White Pine or Fir. Our business is dedicated to providing well-made, rugged tables. A picnic table is a utility item not fine furniture, but it can still offer beauty and an enjoyable aesthetic. We take pride in our craftsmanship and in creating beauty. For those reasons as well as user safety, we round all edges and carefully sand the table top and seats. Mainely Tables picnic tables can be found in restaurants, campgrounds and back yards across the great state of Maine.

 

CUSTOMIZATION

Mainely Tables values providing genuine quality combined with excellent customer service. We enjoy creating customized tables to meet a customer’s need and do so whenever time permits. Our workshop has created specialty tables for restaurants such as high tops, for providers of services to children, in special lengths to fit a particular location, and to accommodate those in wheelchairs. We even made a table for a Portland restaurant, to be placed on their sidewalk on a steep hill, with legs of different lengths so the table top would be level!

WHO WE ARE

An important aspect of Mainely Tables' service is our offering of delivery. Owners Cheryl and Kirk discovered a great benefit of delivering tables: meeting and chatting with the great folks who have bought a table!  We moved to Maine in 2008 to create a new life, trading in a more career-oriented life for one more centered in simple living. Our choice of Maine for this adventure was spot-on: we love Maine and her people!
